"To bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just human presence on this planet as the guiding principle of our time" is the stated purpose of the Symposium. Created by the Pachamama Alliance (www.pachamama.org), the Symposium is designed to wake up even the sleepiest among us to the urgent crisis we now face because of our lack of understanding that all things are interconnected and unless environmental sustainability, spiritual fulfillment and social justice are all realized, not one of them will be long-lasting.
