(The two being joined in holy matrimony may say these words to each other either before or after the exchange of rings.)
"I do not enter into this marriage for reasons of security, for the only real security is in the knowing that everything I need in life ...all the love, all the wisdom, all the insight, all the power, all the knowledge, all the understandings, all the nurturing, all the compassion, and all the strength... resides within me.
I dedicate myself to you not in hopes of getting these things from you, but in hopes of giving these gifts to you, that you may have them in even greater abundance.
I now give you this red rose, symbolizing and acknowledging the Earthly things you will share with me within our marriage, and this white rose, symbolizing your spiritual nature and spiritual truth. It stands for the purity of your Real and Highest Self, and for the purity of God's love, and my love, which shines upon you now, and always.
It is my intention to be with you forever ...in a Holy Partnership of the Soul ...that we may together do God's work... sharing all that is good within us ...with all those whose lives we touch.
Namaste - The God in me recognizes and honors the God in you."
-adapted from the wedding vows of Neale Donald Walsch and his wife Nancy
Note: I can also do vows that make no mention of God, if that is your preference, or you can write your own vows. Either way, I will work with you to design a ceremony in keeping with the significance and joy of the occasion, adding my own thoughts and readings as appropriate to reflect Who You Are and the Partners in Life you wish to become.
